This advanced course examines host pathogen interactions for diseases of particular global health importance such as Malaria, Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS and COVID-19. We examine both the molecular basis of disease and new approaches to disease prevention and therapy of global relevance.
NOTES: All graduate students are required to take MICI 5400.03 in their first year. Students and supervisors may request a one year deferral under special circumstances, for example, students required to upgrade their academic background.
