Introduction

The Faculty of Management is a community for individuals and organizations who have a sense of purpose and want to make a positive contribution to the world around them.  For more than a century, this is where students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the public have come together to conduct research, share knowledge, and build relationships. These activities are the foundation on which we’ve built a global reputation that puts us among the most desirable places to pursue an education and launch a career.

Our programs cover subject matter that is essential to leaders, managers and professionals working in public, private, and not-for-profit sectors. We develop competency in financial, technological, organizational, ethical, cultural, and administrative topics. No matter the discipline, our faculty cultivates the skills necessary to thrive in any workplace or community such as resilience, adaptability, critical thinking, and collaboration.

We understand that private, public, and not-for-profit sectors need to work together to generate new possibilities. We are an inclusive community driven by curiosity, integrity, and discovery. We welcome and celebrate diverse perspectives.

Students come here knowing that we are a place that inspires social and economic action and innovation. We foster talent in people who want to focus on activities that matter, are useful, and make a positive difference in the world.

The Faculty of Management offers two undergraduate programs, the Bachelor of Commerce Cooperative and the Bachelor of Management. Students outside these programs are welcome to take many of our courses and certificates and can complete a Minor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Our degree programs are all externally accredited.

Our graduate programs include direct-entry and mid-career versions of the Master of Information, Master of Business Administration, and Master of Public Administration, as well as the Master of Science in Business. We actively participate in the Interdisciplinary PhD program and the multi-Faculty Master of Digital Innovation.

Undergraduate students wishing to enrol in programs or seek further information should contact the Undergraduate Advising Office by calling +1 (902) 494-3710, or by emailing uao@dal.ca.
