Introduction

The Department of Medical Neuroscience fosters research and education in neuroscience and human anatomy to advance the understanding and treatment of diseases of the nervous system. Our faculty members contribute to undergraduate neuroscience courses in the Faculty of Science including NESC 3440: Human Neuroanatomy and NESC 4070: Chemical Neurobiology.

The Department of Medical Neuroscience is also the home for Anatomy at Dalhousie University, at the undergraduate level offering courses in human gross anatomy and histology.
