This course focuses on theories of gender, sexuality and desire in the cinema. It addresses debates around the representation of gender, sexuality and desire on screen, as well as theorizations of spectatorial desire. There are no prerequisites, but previous exposure to Cinema and Media Studies or Gender and Women's Studies is recommended.
