If you want to know how to assess and create organizations that are adaptable, effective, and flexible in today's complex environments then this is the course for you. The goal of this course is to prepare students to assess, design and structure organizations to be more effective. The interrelationships between strategy, technology, culture, and the organization's internal and external environments will be explored. An emphasis will be placed on change management practices and other frameworks that are useful for assessing and increasing organizational effectiveness. In class, students will experience a combination of lectures, student presentations, group work, individual work, in-class discussions, and the experiential exercises.
