This course is directed to students interested in increasing their understanding of aspects of pulmonary biology and pathologies. Examples of typical topics which will be examined in depth include epithelial transport, airway smooth muscle, pulmonary function testing, gas exchange, and the effects of exercise on the respiratory system.
