This course provides a detailed overview of key concepts of cardiovascular physiology and disease, including discussion of current research in the field. Students will be expected to make presentations based on appropriate literature. Topics include: cardiac anatomy/structure; electrophysiology; excitation-contraction coupling; mechanics; metabolism; nervous system control; and vasculature function. Director: T. A. Quinn
