This course introduces students to landscape design principles and elements through the exploration of noteworthy designers and their work. The role of environmental psychology theory in design, plant associations, site analysis, and client interaction in the development of the design brief and subsequent design is developed through a series of prescribed design exercises. Hand rendering skills are acquired in this course.
