This course examines concepts and issues related to mental health through an examination of related theories, research, writings, and practices. Emphasis is placed on promoting mental health for communities and populations. Students are provided the opportunity to engage with mental health issues and to explore how the social and structural determinants of health intersect with mental health promotion.
