The College of Continuing Education at Dalhousie University is here to help you successfully navigate the changing world of learning and work at all stages of your education journey and throughout your career. We serve diverse learning needs through innovative, accessible and engaging educational experiences. Our Pathways Programs help you prepare for university studies, whether you need to improve your English language abilities or fill in learning gaps in math or science. Our Professional Development programs are designed to enhance your expertise, keep you current with recent developments in your field or help you stand out in the job market. We offer hundreds of management, technical and adult education courses for a wide range of careers and professions. We also serve organizations operating in business, government and non-profit segments of our economy.

Our courses are offered all year and are delivered in a classroom and online. We have short half-day or one-day courses all the way to longer certificate programs that are completed over several years. The College of Continuing Education offers a wide range of courses, programs and customized education solutions focused around key themes in today’s rapidly changing world of learning and work.  We offer two distinct areas of education experiences—Pathways and Professional Development.  Our Pathways courses and programs help learners meet their university education entry and completion goals.  Our Professional Development courses and programs help learners meet career launch, progression and change goals.
