The College of Continuing Education at Dalhousie University is here to help you successfully navigate your lifelong learning journey in the changing world of work and learning. We serve diverse students, of all ages, backgrounds and walks of life, and their equally diverse learning needs through innovative, accessible and engaging educational experiences. We also serve organizations operating in the business, government and non-profit segments of our economy.

If you are seeking to enter university, we offer learning opportunities to help you meet university requirements in the English language, writing, math, physics, chemistry and biology.  We also offer the Transition Year Program to help Indigenous and Black Nova Scotians successfully enter the university.

If you are at the beginning, middle or executive stage of your career, we offer learning experiences to enhance your expertise, keep you current with recent developments in your field and help you stand out to employers. We offer technical, management and speciality courses for a wide range of careers and professions. We offer courses in adult education to help you learn best practices for sharing your expertise with your colleagues or adult students.  We are also pleased to offer courses in our new Health and Wellness portfolio to help you develop and maintain positive mental health practices for both your personal and professional lives.

Our courses are offered all year round and are delivered online, with classroom-based options available if conditions allow. We offer short workshops of several hours, all the way to courses that span up to twelve weeks.  Many of our courses can be combined into certificates that demonstrate your breadth and depth of learning. Whatever your learning needs or the learning needs of your organization, we have the right educational experience to help you out.
