  This certificate program will equip you with the analytical skill set required for gathering, validating, communicating, documenting, and testing business requirements as well as the effective development and implementation of business processes. To earn the certificate, you must complete three required courses and one elective. These courses can be taken individually.

  Today’s leaders are critical thinkers who can make ethical and strategic decisions quickly in constantly evolving situations. They make sound judgment calls with limited information and can adapt when changes need to be made. They do all of this while staying tapped into the organization’s overall mission and vision. Designed by and offered in partnership with the Business Excellence Institute based in Dublin, Ireland, this certificate has three required courses.

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
  Upon completion of the program, participants are awarded a Dalhousie University Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate acknowledging their Green Belt-level knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodology tools and techniques. Participants also have the opportunity to take the QualityAmerica Green Belt Certification Exam at no additional charge. Participants who complete the exam will be awarded QualityAmerica’s Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification without Projects.

• Project Management (Blended with live instructor)
  Learn the fundamentals of project management in an online, interactive environment with a live instructor. Ideal for anyone new to the field or interested in advancing existing skills.

  This 12-week course will give you practical knowledge that can be used in the business world. The course covers topics such as: contract law, negligence, legislation applicable to the workplace, employment law, setting up a business, intellectual property and electronic commerce.

  This 12-week course will teach you how to write a marketing plan from start to finish. Learn what makes marketing a critical activity in business growth by exploring the broad principles and practices of marketing from a practical perspective.
  
  
• Testing for the Business Analyst
  This 14-hour, self-paced course will teach you the concepts required to plan, manage, execute, and evaluate testing outcomes of a business solution.
  
  
• Analytical Thinking for the Business Analyst
  This 14-hour, self-paced course will help you formalize and develop your analytical skills as a business analyst. This course is based on the Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK®) version 3.0.
  
  
• Project Management Essentials
  This 4-week, online course provides new project managers and project team members the essential tools they need to deliver successful projects. It consists of four weeks of self-directed, online learning, including four online live sessions.
