Minor in Agricultural Economics

This minor is available to students registered in a 120 credit hour Bachelor of Science (Agriculture), Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science  or Bachelor of Science (Medical Sciences) program.

This minor is not available to student majoring in Economics or Agricultural Economics.

This minor provides students the opportunity to deepen their understanding and expertise in agricultural economics. Areas of study include: applied economic theory, quantitative economics, agricultural commodity futures markets, environmental policy, agricultural policy, trade, production economics, and agricultural markets and prices.

18 credit hours chosen from the following in consultation with the academic advisor.

Students must also take at least six additional credit hours at the 3000 or 4000 level, from the following list of courses:

  • ECOA 4005.03: Advanced Macroeconomics
