Master of Science (MSc) Degree Program
Students are required to take at least 12 credit hours at the graduate level including BIOL 5702.015 and 5704.015: Communication Skills and BIOL 5710.03 or 5720.03 or 5730.03: Graduate Module Classes; they may include graduate courses from other departments or the Faculty of Agriculture. Additional courses may be specified by supervisory committees.
Students are required to demonstrate in an undergraduate biology course for at least one year and must take an admission to candidacy examination during the first nine months.
A thesis reporting original research must be submitted and defended orally.
Students are expected to participate in weekly departmental seminars.
