BA (120 credit hour) Double Major in Spanish
In addition to the general degree requirements, students need a combination of 60 credit hours, with a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 48 credit hours in Spanish. At least 18 of these credit hours must be at the 3000 level or higher.
Requirements:
- SPAN 2021.03: Intermediate Spanish
- SPAN 2022.03: Advanced Intermediate Spanish
- SPAN 2090.03: Introduction to Hispanic Literary Study (this does not constitute your literature requirement)
- SPAN 3020.03: Translation
- SPAN 3035.03: Advanced Spanish I
- SPAN 3036.03: Advanced Spanish II
- Three credit hours in Spanish or Spanish-American Literature (3000 level or higher)
- Three credit hours in Spanish Civilization, Spanish-American Civilization or Hispanic Culture (this includes SPAN 2040, SPAN 2069, SPAN 2070, SPAN 2100, SPAN 2105, SPAN 2109, SPAN 2110, SPAN 2130, SPAN 2150, SPAN 2155, SPAN 2200)
- Six additional credit hours in Spanish at the 3000 level or higher
