BA (120 credit hours) Combined Honours in Black and African Diaspora Studies and another subject
Students must meet the faculty requirements for honours.
Students may combine honours in Black and African Diaspora Studies with honours in a second Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences or Faculty of Science subject. BA students may take Black and African Diaspora Studies as their first or second subject. BSc students may only take combined honours with Black and African Diaspora Studies as the second subject.
Degree requirements
For a Combined Honours with BAFD as the primary subject, the requirements are the same as for the Concentrated Honours in BAFD, but with 15 to 33 credit hours of selectives.
For a Combined Honours with BAFD as the secondary subject, the requirements are the same as for the Majors, but with 15 to 33 of selectives.
A minimum of 6-credit hours must be taken from selective group A, 6-credit hours from selective group B, and 3-credit hours from selective group C. The courses must also be drawn from three or more subjects (course codes) within Dalhousie.
