Minors

The purpose of a minor is to attain a significant body of knowledge within a discipline that is outside of the student's major. A minor can be added to many 120 credit hour degree programs at Dalhousie including the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Community Design, Bachelor of Computer Science, Bachelor of Applied Computer Science, Bachelor of Management, Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science (Agriculture) and Bachelor of Science (Medical Science).  The individual minor listing on the right will indicate to which degrees the minor can be added.

Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science - 90 credit hour minor

A 90 credit hour degree requires less specialization in a single subject, and is usually completed in three years. Students graduate with a Minor rather than a Major subject.
