Minor in Computer Science

This minor is available to non-Computer Science students registered in a 120 credit hour Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Management, Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Science, or Bachelor of Science (Medical Science) program.

The requirements are as for the appropriate program with the completion of the following courses wtih a grade of at lease C:

• CSCI 2110.03: Data Structures and Algorithms
• CSCI 2134.03: Software Development
• Two of:
• CSCI 3110.03: Design and Analysis of Algorithms I
• CSCI 3120.03: Operating Systems
• CSCI 3130.03: Software Engineering
• CSCI 3136.03 or CSCI 3137.03: Principles of Programming Languages
• CSCI 3171.03: Network Computing
• 6 additional CSCI credit hours at or above the 2000 level, excluding CSCI 2100.03: Communication Skills: Oral and Written and CSCI 3101.03: Social, Ethical and Professional Issues in Computer Science
