Minor in Health Studies
This minor is available to students registered in a 120 credit hour Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Science (Medical Science) program.
The requirements are as for appropriate degree program including 24 credit hours as described in Health Studies. To count towards the minor, a minimum grade of B- is required.
Required Courses
Students must complete 24 credit hours above the 1000 level from the list of approved elective courses noted below. A minimum of "B-" in these approved elective courses above the 1000 level earns credit toward the Minor.
Elective Requirements
24 credit hours from the approved list below, all above the 1000 level, and 12 credit hours above the 2000 level. These credit hours must include courses from at least two of the following disciplines: Humanities, Social Sciences, Physical/Life Sciences, Engineering, Health Professions. Not all of these courses are offered every year. Some courses require prerequisites.
