Additional Requirements
Satisfactory completion 78 credit hours of the presribed courses is required.
Students must demonstrate satisfactory knowledge and skills in all the phases of clinical oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Satisfactory completion of a research study and submission of the results in the form of a thesis acceptable to the director of the program is required. Note that the research study/thesis requires completion of the Research Proposal (ORAL 9416.00) and presentation of preliminary findings at the annual Graduate Student Research Day of the Faculty of Medicine and/or at a national or international conference (ORAL 9408.00). Students are also expected to prepare their research for submission to a peer-reviewed publication.
