Program Overview

The School of Nursing offers a Master of Nursing (MN) program that is framed within a philosophy of people-centred care that recognizes the unique strengths and contributions of individuals, families, and communities.

The Mental Health and Addictions stream is a course-based program that combines didactic and clinical learning. This program enables students to develop and practice competencies required to assume responsibility for the provision of advanced clinical therapeutics for clients with mental health and addictions within the community and Tier-3 level of service delivery. Graduates of the program will be educated to holistically assess client needs, implement psychotherapies, provide client/family teaching, and monitor responses to treatment.
