Combined JD/MI Program
Year 1
- First year courses of the MI program, plus the non-credit INFO 0590 Practicum (Spring Term)
Year 2
- First year courses of the JD program
Year 3
MI : two MI courses (one required, one elective)
JD: 23-25 credits, including:
- LAWS 2062.05: Constitutional Law ** required in Year 3
- LAWS 2361.025: Civil Procedure ** required in Year 3
- LAWS 2362.025: Civil Procedure ** required in Year 3
- One course from the "oral advocacy" basket, unless planning to complete in Year 4 (List of basket courses to be included in annual registration materials)
- At least one, but no more than two courses which satisfy the major paper requirement
Year 4
JD: 23-25 credits, including
- LAWS 2099.02 Legal Profession, unless completed in Year 3
- One course from the "oral advocacy" basket, unless completed in Year 3
- At least one, but no more than two courses which satisfy the major paper requirement
Students applying for the combined JD/MI program must meet the admission standards for the Schulich School of Law and the Master of Information (MI).
