Biomedical Engineering Research Methods and Design is a graduate level course intended to teach research skills and concepts needed to plan experiments, analyze data from a research project and implement best practices for the design of biomedical technologies and devices. The first part of this course will focus on statistical and data analysis tools commonly used in biomedical engineering, while the second part of the course will center around design control principles as commonly used for medical device design within quality management systems, e.g. in 820CFR30 and ISO13485.
