PHYL 3120 Exercise Physiology in Health and Disease

This course discusses the function and dysfunction of body organ systems and the short- and long-term responses of these systems to physical activity. The cellular and molecular mechanisms of action that underlie the relationships between exercise and the functioning of the human body are explored. Preventive and therapeutic use of exercise and physical activity for a wide range of clinical conditions is examined.
