Welcome - Human Cell Physiology
PHYL 3320 Human Cell Physiology
CREDIT HOURS: 3
Events at the cellular and molecular level underlie the functions of tissues, organs and systems. This course examines key physiological principles at the molecular level, and uses the understanding developed to describe important cell and tissue functions, as well as dysfunctions in human disease states. Lectures focus on membrane transport, electrical excitability and electrical signaling, epithelial transport, signaling within individual cells, intracellular organelle function, and ion channels.
