Each year, this "issues" course focuses on a different specific topic within the general area. In past years topics have addressed the social and moral problems of social inequalities of various kinds viewed in a context of global changes. Sample topics include but are not restricted to: gender, minority and class inequalities; struggles over rights; social movements; social scenarios surrounding citizenship, migration and immigration; multiculturalism; and border and security studies. FORMAT: Seminar
PREREQUISITES: One SOSA 1000 level course or FYP and fourth year Honours standing. Permission to register is subject to the discretion of the Instructor for students who are not SOSA Honours students.
