Each year, this "issues" course focuses on a different specific topic within the general area. In past years topics have addressed the social and moral problems of social inequalities of various kinds viewed in a context of global changes. Sample topics include but are not restricted to: gender, minority and class inequalities; struggles over rights; social movements; social scenarios surrounding citizenship, migration and immigration; multiculturalism; and border and security studies. PREREQUISITES: Fourth year Honours standing. Permission to register is subject to the discretion of the Instructor for students who are not SOSA Honours students
