An introduction to plants in landscape horticulture, focusing on managed and natural landscapes where students develop a basic understanding of plant-environment interactions. The functional relationships between plant growth and landscapes are documented, analyzed and discussed. Appropriate horticultural techniques to manage plants and vegetation in the landscape are practiced.
