ARCH 3002 Design
CREDIT HOURS: 6
This course studies principles of architecture by focusing on the design of the house. Building on topics from
ARCH 3001, it considers issues of composition (structural, volumetric, and spatial), building program, interior environment, and relations to community context and ecological surroundings. The course includes historical design studies to understand how other architects have responded to these issues.
