This course aims to provide students with a foundation in methods and issues related to conducting marketing research, including problem definition, qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, and methods of presentation and evaluation. This course will emphasize the need for marketing research to be effective and efficient, and that the outcomes of the research can deliver meaningful business results. Students will learn the principles of when to use research, what data to collect, which analytical tools to employ, and most importantly, how to integrate the research approaches to achieve real market insights and support business decisions. Knowledge of these topics will enable students to both implement and evaluate marketing research during their professional careers.
