Electrical Engineering Option - Communication Systems
ECED 3511 Communication Systems
CREDIT HOURS: 3
This course covers transmission of information in the presence of noise. The course combines a rigorous development of the fundamental principles in transceiver implementations with examples of modulation schemes that are used in modern communication systems, such as quadrature modulation, phase and frequency-shift keying, and OFDM. Mathematical foundations of communications are applied to develop state-of-the-art digital modulation.
