The core business of the European Union is the creation of an integrated European market. The EU includes a wide variety of nations with a heavy reliance on non-market institutions to govern and coordinate economic activity. This course introduces students to the food business system in the EU and the expanding role of Corporate Social Responsibility. As a part of this course, students will attend a study tour to Brussels the capital of the European Union. This course is taught in The Netherlands.
