Bachelor of Science (Agriculture) - Bioresource Systems Analysis (A)
APSC 2002 Bioresource Systems Analysis (A)
CREDIT HOURS: 3
This course introduces the concepts of systems theory and systems analysis. Natural and engineered systems function on the basis of different inputs triggering throughput processes that result in a range of outputs. The emphasis will be on the use of systems analysis on managing current bioresource, environmental, and technological issues affecting our world. Students will work through case studies, specific example datasets, and contemporary world issues using a systems analysis framework as an integrated problem-solving tool. Real-world systems will be examined through application driven problems, discussions, and case study analysis.
