Emphasis will be placed on pest identification, monitoring pest populations and determination of appropriate thresholds for management, pest life cycles and life-cycle specific considerations for pest management. The course will also provide an overview of the broad categories of pest management available for weed, insect , and pathogen pests, and examples of pest management strategies for specific pest life cycles and cropping systems. This course will consist of 3 modules, each dedicated to a specific pest group.
