In this course, students will learn the various concepts relating to indoor farming, vertical farming, urban farming technologies for production of various crops. Students will be exposed to design, development and management of indoor farms and vertical farms, and controlled environment manipulations for production of various crops starting from seedlings and transplants production, controlled environment manipulation, water and nutrient management, crop production, harvest, packing, packaging, quality control, controlled environment operating systems, logistics.
