This course introduces students to the profession, theories, principles and practice of Horticultural Therapy, and its application in different settings. Students are introduced to the various horticultural therapy programs both indoors and outdoors, and the many cognitive, social, emotional and physical benefits for different groups of people. It outlines client assessment, documentation and treatment plans using the appropriate horticultural therapy activities.
