The course introduces the fundamental psychological processes related to consumption and eating behaviour. With a focus on agri-food product consumption, the lectures include consumers’ perceptions, attitudes, motivation, decision-making, and social-cultural factors that influence consumption and food choices. In addition, the class discussion will focus on applying consumer behaviour theories to recent trends in agri-food consumption and industry development. This course will mainly be in-person lectures and discussions and complement interactive online learning experiences.
