POLI 3602 Readings in Political Science
CREDIT HOURS: 3
A reading course is a custom-made, one-term course based on a set of readings on a specific topic. Reading courses can only be taken by special arrangement with a faculty mentor. Students interested in taking a reading course must contact relevant faculty members to inquire and—if a faculty member is willing to supervise—to make all of the necessary arrangements; this must happen well in advance of the semester in which the reading course is to be taken. Reading courses can take a variety of different forms, some of which are outlined in the Political Science website. General questions about reading courses (and requests for formal approval) should be directed to the department chair.
