The objective of this course is to identify and respond to the conceptual function of digital projection with live performance, including theatre, music, and dance. In the course of developing a projection sequence, students will gain an introductory knowledge of image manipulation, video editing and image delivery software, which, when used in combination, are the essential tools required to enter the field of Projection Design. Students will learn each element of the software through assigned exercises. This course is required for students in the Technical Theatre programme, but it can also be taken as an elective by students in other disciplines.
