Minor in Environmental Studies - Communities and Ecosystems
BIOL 3061 Communities and Ecosystems
CREDIT HOURS: 3
Life exists and evolves in ecosystems which
are complex systems. This class studies
ecosystems and their food webs from a
systems theory approach with an emphasis
on network theory and qualitative analysis.
Life itself is a networked process.
Ecosystems are approached holistically to
discover a new set of system properties.
