This course is designed for advanced students who have taken the available courses at the 2000 level or equivalent. During this course students will explore the relationship between science and literature, especially subversive representations of History in fictional texts during the 20th and 21st centuries. Lectures will be organized on a chronological basis and will cover different Spanish-speaking cultural areas. The aim of this course is to introduce students to a specific area of Hispanic literature focusing on the historic facts included in novels and essays.
