This course focuses on developing students' ability to communicate effectively in a variety of professional, academic, and social contexts. Through engaging activities and projects, students will refine their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills while working on complex grammar structures and expanding vocabulary. Emphasis is placed on presenting arguments, expressing abstract ideas, and understanding authentic texts. By the end of the course, students will be able to engage confidently in discussions and produce well-organized written texts on a wide range of topics.
NOTES: In order to fulfill the Bachelor of Arts Language Requirement in Spanish, students need to complete 6 hours of a single language within three semesters.

This course includes lectures, discussions, group and pair activities. Students may also have opportunities to interact with native speakers outside the classroom through virtual exchange projects, online sessions, or face-to-face sessions within the department. These interactions will be part of the assessment and serve as one of the course's evaluation components.
