FREN 3125, and involves an in-depth study of a selection of topics that are of relevance to the francophone world, including: the relationship between French and native languages; linguistic and cultural policies; languages in the educational system; economic development issues; North-South relations, etc. Approved with IDS.
NOTES: This course does not satisfy the French degree program requirements. French Majors and Honours students may take this course as an elective.
