This course examines four aspects of policy analysis: 1) the role of the analyst in modern government; 2) the analyst’s working environment; 3) techniques used in carrying out research and preparing position papers; and 4) the analyst’s responsibilities to government and to the public in determining what information should reach decision-makers.
