SLWK 7400 Integrated Approaches for Social Work Practice

This course examines theory, policy and direct intervention as interrelated forms of social work practice. Through this integrated approach, students explore politicized approaches to transformative social work by examining social welfare settings including health environments, child welfare, government, non-government, not-for-profit organizations and social movements. Students will develop an intersectional lens and critical analysis of integrated approaches to practice in chosen areas of interests within diverse communities.
