CANA 3400 Contemporary Indigenous Art

This course examines a range of contemporary artistic expression by Indigenous people from nations across North America. Works examined may include painting, sculpture, hip hop, textile, and video. Focus will be on how Indigenous artists respond to contemporary issues of identity, politics, and culture.
