INTA 2001 Internship I
CREDIT HOURS: 3
The student will be required to work under an agreement with an
approved employer (other than a home farm or business) in their
chosen field for a period of at least 12 weeks (420 hours). Agreement
details will be relevant to the student's area of interest and will be
negotiated between the student, the employer, and the course
instructor. Assessment will be based on this agreement and will be
carried out jointly by the employer and the course instructor. The focus
of the internship is on employability skills and professionalism.
NOTES: A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required to take this class. Instructor approval required.
Students are limited to 2 INTA courses providing elective credit toward their degree requirements, unless otherwise stipulated in their program, i.e. International Food Business.
Must be 12 weeks, 420 hours.
