Minor in Microbiology and Immunology

This minor is available to non-Microbiology and Immunology students registered in a 120 credit hour Bachelor of Applied Computer Science, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Computer Science, Bachelor of Informatics, Bachelor of Management, Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Science (Medical Science) program.

A BSc (90 credit hour) degree program with a Minor in Microbiology and Immunology is available to students in the Faculty of Science.

Requirements

A minimum of 18 to a maximum of 36 credit hours in Microbiology and Immunology (MICI) courses

Please note that there are prerequisite requirements for entry into upper level Microbiology courses, including:

• BIOL 2020.03: Cell Biology and BIOL 2030.03: Genetics and Molecular Biology and BIOC 2300.03: Introduction to Biochemistry
• CHEM 2401.03: Organic Chemistry I and CHEM 2402.03: Organic Chemistry II
