CREDIT HOURS: 3
This course will provide students with an opportunity to explore the distinct and integrated influence of research and policy on the health of non-dominant, ethno-cultural populations within the Canadian context. In particular, this course will assist students in developing a critical understanding of the intersection of multi-cultural health with politics and power. Through engagement with multi-disciplinary perspectives, students will examine health research and policy issues pertaining specifically to diverse groups of people and historically marginalized populations.
